Aspire HR Ltd was founded in March 2008 by Angela Thorburn  - an experienced, qualified senior HR Professional (Chartered FCIPD) . With over 16 years of HR and Training experience - you can be confident with us.

Our aim is to provide relevant, focused and highly practical HR solutions for your business. We do this by listening to you carefully and we work with you to identify the appropriate intervention ensuring that your business gets the right solution, at the right time.

Angela, Director & Owner of Aspire HR Ltd, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and adheres the high professional standards and requirements for Continuing Professional Development set by the CIPD.

We also work with other Associates who are also highly qualified, HR professionals and specialists.  Our network includes qualified recruiters, accredited coaches and MBTI practitioners.  

All Associates work under our guidance on all projects.

Since 2008  Angela has worked as a freelance consultant in the private and public sector, including operating at a managerial level in the NHS for an acute hospital trust on an interim basis.

From 2001 - 2008 Angela has held HR Management roles for multiple global, US owned corporations which have involved managing multi-site HR operations, European Headquarters and commercial subsidiary environments.

Prior to 2001 Angela was a seasoned Learning & Development professional, working for a global pharmaceutical company, before moving into more generalist HR roles. With an early career in Retail Management, then business consulting, Angela has a good commercial business background with exposure to most industry sectors

Angela now works freelance for clients in both the private and public sector
